On the 6th June, all of our Y4s went to the Recreation Ground to represent the school at the town D Day Commemorations. A group of the children also read a poem called ‘D Day Heroes’ to dignitaries including the Mayor and Town Crier. They represented the school and the service impeccably and we hope it helps them to understand the importance of this day in history. Well done Year 4!
