Primary Engineer – If you were an engineer what would you do? Competition
Herne View, following on from Greenfylde, have continued to enter this annual competition where children are encouraged to develop their engineering skills by inventing a useful machine. They not only have to explain their designs but also the impact it will have. Overall 48,000 entered nationwide and many of our children received certificates for their entries and 2 were put forward for the final 24 in the South West area and we were very proud to have 2 highly commended with Bethany and Joseph.
Their two ideas of a litter picking bus (which can also fly) and a washing line rain protector were both considered excellent designs and were worthy finalists.
