All the children were gifted a special Coronation gift by the Ilminster Town Council which consisted of a mug, wild flower seeds, a flag and a bag, all with the logo of the Coronation on them. The children were delighted with their gifts and huge thanks go to the Town Council for their generosity and thoughtfulness. The school also held a crown parade competition that was sponsored by Devon Truck Show, Cottage Flowers and Ilminster Carnival Committee which saw the judges look at over 300 crowns. The children were joined by the Deputy Mayor Cllr Brian Hamilton and the Ilminster Town Crier and his consort, Andrew and Julie Fox, who also gave the children their own special Coronation cry.
