Sharing letter 20th September

Quick reminder that milk is free for all reception children until they are 5 years old so please order it if your child would like milk.

Lunch orders- please make sure you have selected the dessert option for the school dinner if you have not they will get the standard pudding for the day and they may prefer fruit or yoghurt on certain days.

Thank you all for another successful week! We look forward to welcoming all of Reception in Full time from Monday. Please feel free to choose which gate you would like to come in via in the morning. Miss Crouch is normally at the Silver street gate so this may be helpful if your child needs a familiar face. We realise that many children are getting very tired from the school day and are emotional as a result they are fine once they get into school and start their day.

We are starting our Phase 2 phonics this week and will be beginning with the sounds s a t and p. I have attached videos of how to form each of these letters and the images we use. It is very early days with writing so you be creative on how to practice it this could be using sticks in the sand, shaving foam or with chalks on the pavement..

Within maths we will be looking at sorting different objects by type e.g. leaves, buttons etc.

If you need a second tapestry account set up if you can add a new observation (not comment on this one for GDPR reasons) with the new account holders, first and last name, email and relation to the child.
