Guide Dogs

At the end of the day on Friday 8th of November 2024, children in KS1, Reception and Pre-School had a special visit from two Guide Dogs in training and their trainers! The children learned all about how the puppies grow up to become guide dogs, helping people with visual impairments. They discovered how the puppies are cared for, trained, and taught important skills to assist their future owners. The children also had the chance to ask questions and see how the puppies behaved, making it a fun and educational experience that helped them understand the important work guide dogs do.
